So, uh... life's been kinda upside down lately. One day I'm at home with Mom, and the next, I'm stuck living with my dad-yeah, the Yamada Hizashi, better known as Present Mic. Didn't exactly plan for that, but here we are. Still trying to wrap my head around it. Can't say it's all bad, though. Turns out, co-hosting a radio show with your pro hero dad at ungodly hours of the night is a pretty decent distraction from... well, everything else. Honestly, it's kinda fun. The way we go off-script half the time, roasting villains and throwing shade at the news-it's chaotic, but in a good way. Keeps me from thinking too much. Dad's-well, he's loud, dramatic, and somehow a total dork and a hero at the same time. But he's also... warm. Genuine. The kind of guy who makes you feel seen, even when you're trying real hard to blend into the wallpaper. It's weird, having someone actually there. Asking if I've eaten, if I'm sleeping okay, if I wanna vent or just scream into a mic at 2 AM. I guess what I'm saying is, things are messy and confusing, and I have no idea what's gonna happen next. But for now, I've got a half-decent mattress, a mic, and a dad who grins way too wide and tells me he's proud every chance he gets. Could be worse. A/N: This is a mha fanstory hope you enjoy! My Hero Academia: Quirkless Slugger
When humanity began developing special powers known as Quirks, society as a whole changed forever. The age of Heroes began with many youths aspiring to become licensed Pro Heroes. Some pursued this line of work for fame, money, or status, however there were those who pursued out of a burning desire to help others. However there were those who were born without a Quirk, these people tended to live rather mundane and uneventful lives. In the history of Pro Heroes there has never been a Quirkless Hero, until one fateful day. A young delinquent toting around a baseball bat is given an opportunity to join the Hero Course with the help of his aunt. Joining the ranks of Class 1-A he will be tested at every corner. Despite the monumental odds stacked against him however, the young man faces it with an excited smile on his face. No matter what walls are put in front of this Slugger, he will smash through them to prove he can be a Hero just like anyone else. In a world where 80% of the population has developed unique mutations in their genetic codes, giving them "superpowers", or "quirks", as they call it, it doesn't take long for fantasy and imagination to emerge out of the earth. And further, it doesn't take long for roles of "Heroes" and "Villains" to rise up as well. But... Who coins one as a "hero" or a "villain"...? The person themselves...? Or the people around them...? Light... Dark... Dusk... Dawn... Two sides of the same coin... Twilight... --- Kageyama Kazuma is a 16 year old boy, aspiring to follow his late father's footsteps, and become a hero who saves people. But... Not all can go as planned, or wished, right? So was the case for Kazuma as well, as his quirk soon found itself being held accountable for Kazuma being coined the word "villain" by those around him, before he could even begin his journey to becoming a hero. His only light in this darkness being his mother, is willing to do whatever it takes to keep that smile she treasures so much to never leave the boy's face. But... Being a human at the end of the day, she can only do so much. Follow Kageyama through his journey to becoming one of the greatest heroes in the entirety of Japan. What awaits him on this journey? Friends? Love? Hardships? That's for you to find out. Blind Spot (Vigilante Deku)
Aizawa: I made a mistake. I saw a kid struggling and labeled him a lost cause. I kicked him out of U.A. because I thought he was a danger-to others and to himself. But the truth is, I failed him. Hawks: You don't get many chances to find someone like him-someone who's broken, burned, and still burns brighter than the rest. Izuku Midoriya... that kid's all instinct, teeth, and heart. The first time I saw him move, I knew he had potential. Not hero potential-not the glittery PR kind. Real potential. The kind that survives when everything else falls. He's reckless, sure. But he listens. Learns. And he keeps going even when the world says stop. I'm not just watching over him. I'm betting on him. He's going to change everything. I just hope he survives long enough to see it. Izuku: I'm not going back. Not to classrooms or ranks or fake smiles. I don't need applause-I need answers. I need justice. People are screaming, Bakugo's throwing another tantrum, and here I am-sitting in the middle of all this like it's just a regular day at school. Honestly, if they're expecting me to go full hero mode right now, they've got another thing coming. I mean, who do they think they're dealing with? This isn't the same Izuku they used to know. Nah. That kid is gone. I'm the one who knows how to have a little fun, stir the pot, and watch the world burn. Sarcasm? My best friend. And oh, don't think I don't notice everyone's side-eyeing me like I'm some kind of villain now. I'm not a villain. Not yet.
