When 21 year old college student Arden Vale follows a dare into the abandoned Hollow Pines Asylum, he expects dust, decay, and maybe a good scare for his friends' cameras. What he doesn't expect is him; a boy chained to the wall in the basement, pale as moonlight and barely breathing, with eyes that glow faintly in the dark.

Arden's first instinct is to help him, but something about the boy, about the way he looks at Arden, sets every nerve on edge. And as Arden digs, he learns the asylum isn't as abandoned as it seems.
