Bruce Wayne had always kept her at arm's length, even though they had known each other their entire lives. He had spent years overwhelmed in grief by his parents' murders, and only two things gave him purpose anymore: the Batman and the woman he wasn't allowed to have.
As they try to find the Riddler and the rat in a drug bust case, the truth burns hotter than either of them can survive, only making clear one truth: in Gotham, secrets never stay buried.

That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage.
