Caitlyn Kiramman, in order to escape an arranged marriage and courtly life as future Queen of Piltover, manages to sneak on the Crimson Reaver, a legendary pirate vessel whose captain, Violet Lanes, is said to wander through the seas searching for a lost gem, whose powers could help create an elixir able to cure the effects of the poisonous gas from the fissures that her people in Zaun are suffering from. The thing that Caitlyn doesn't know yet is that in order to distill that elixir, whose recipe has been preserved in a book in her family's private library for decades, a price must be paid; now Violet is willing to do anything to achieve the cure that her people deserve. Even if it means doing the unspeakable.
That's why they make a deal, not knowing that this affair is only gonna make things even more complicated, if it can.
Because when feelings get involved - whatever kind of feelings - things can only go downhill.
And for Caitlyn and Violet, this is a whole damn abyss.
