During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech. The memory of the past is fuzzy to some until a young blood female child takes the shot that ends the war against the ruthless Empire, but not only does happiness come, the past returns and not everyone is happy to discover what has happened. After being rescued from the landing platform by the Empire Crosshair had to work to prove his loyalty. Now that he's proven himself he is eager to show Hunter the pain the he'd been dealing with since order 66.
