The town of Morrow's End has always been known for its links to the supernatural. In the 1600s, a suspected witch was burned at the stake in the middle of the town, and in front of all its people. When the Ashcroft family move to the town in the year of 2015, they have no year of its eery past. They soon find that the area is far from ordinary, but try to carry on as if nothing is odd at all. However, one fateful Halloween night, the two eldest children decide to play with an Ouija Board that they find hidden behind their wardrobe as if it had been placed there by somebody. Again, the two think nothing of it and play with it, laughing and joking between themselves. This seemingly harmless joke of a game turns into one of their deepest regrets. The whole family are cursed by the very witch that died all those years ago and must now live as normally as normal can be for them.

Destiny. It was a funny thing. I had always thought that I could create my own destiny. But after attending my junior year at Nox Haven, I knew that wasn't possible. My destiny was written two hundred years before my birth, when my ancestor- The Dark Warlock- created a cult of Dark Ones. It was my destiny to rid the world of his mistake- but I didn't know how. That was the funny part, I knew what I had to do but I didn't know how. Nobody wrote that part of the prophecy. I would figure it out though, two of my beloved friends were dead because the Dark Ones. I swore on their graves that no one else would follow. **Book Three in the Nox Haven Series**
