Callista Eudora is a princess.
But unlike most princesses, she has no idea she is one.
She lives a (somewhat) normal life in London, England, 1943. WWII is raging across Europe, and Callista is sent by her abusive father to the countryside, to get ride of her, and because it is ordered for all children under 18. She arrives at Professor Digory Kirk's mansion shy and almost nonverbal,
traumatized by her past, trying to forget and let go. She wakes up screaming from nightmares that never go away.
Three months go by.
Now four more children, siblings, are coming to the mansion.
Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie.
Callista is terrified they'll see her as a freak.
But what happens when they discover a whole world in the upstairs wardrobe?

Around a year after they have returned from Narnia Edmund falls ill and the doctors believe they cannot save them. A message from Aslan reaches the Pevensies; they can save Edmund if they go to Narnia, for the illness will not exist in that world.
