After the world was saved from impending doom, Sonic and his friends are finally able to catch their breath-though peace is fleeting. Shadow's heroic sacrifice left a lingering shadow over everyone, especially Sonic's older sister Stella. Unbeknownst to the rest of the team, Stella and Shadow have found a secret, forbidden bond, one that blooms in the quiet moments between battles and missions.

When Amy accidentally discovers the secret relationship, the delicate balance of trust and loyalty among Sonic's friends is tested. He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths? After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover.
