Stalemate: Bonds, Passion and Hatred

{Psychological Drama}

A group of people with unsettling pasts found a common interest in the game of chess. The story is about healing, moving on, connecting and learning to trust again, as the main characters slowly form bonds with one another despite their different backgrounds.

But what will happen when the past that's been haunting you comes back when your wounds are almost about to be healed?

To find out, read 'Stalemate'.

⚠️Trigger Warning⚠️

[It contains topics such as self harm(s**c!de), death, misuse of certain medicines(d**gs),smoking, potentially gr**ming, sometimes violence.]

This story is SUPPOSED to be unrealistic (Deal with it). Don't try to find any similarities between the real world and this story world, you won't find any. The story follows a different world building (A different universe you can say), so even if you find the names of real world currencies or countries, many things (tournament traditions etc) will be made up for the sake of the plot.

(Everyone and everything is fictional in this story, including the timeline. This story neither involves any real life people nor try to replicate any real life people in any way, shape or form. It is also a failed attempt at humor at certain points. Note: English is not my first language.)

I don't own any of the pictures, they are mostly collected from the internet and slightly edited to fit the story.
