When Mr. Schuester announces the New Directions are doing Heathers: The Musical, the choir room does what it always does.
The three Cheerios instantly become the Heathers (because McKinley High runs on typecasting), Rachel Berry is having a full-on casting meltdown... until she remembers she's a senior now and supposed to be the bigger person.
Spoiler: she's not.
Rachel gets help from Quinn to really pull off Veronica Sawyer. Except that help gets a little too handsy.

Quinn stopped dead in her tracks when she found Piper. There she was, her wife, looking beautiful as ever in her dress and with her hair half up. Quinn could see the light pink lipstick on her lips - the cherry one, most likely - and she certainly didn't miss the earrings she was wearing that Quinn had gotten her for her birthday last year. She looked amazing - like a woman, even if the freckles littered across her face and down her neck and the fact that she refused to wear shoes in the house as she stood barefoot in front of her made her look a bit younger than she really was. But she still looked perfect. And that was without even mentioning the beautiful table she had, clearly, sat for them. Season One Being Sixteen Should Not Be This Hard --- Lima, Ohio, 2009. A few days into the new school year at William McKinley High School, with Cheerleaders in red uniforms, jocks in matching letterman jackets, a brunette in reindeer sweaters, and Kurt Hummel. You walked down the halls counting the days till your next break from the social hell's that encased the school. Your sister, chirping away beside you about some musical she made you watch the previous day. One that gave you the ability to sleep with your eyes open. High fiving the tall football player, who had been your friend since the age of thirteen, as he walked by with his blonde girlfriend tucked into his side. Flipping off the (not yet) man-child, who thought a short mohawk was still cool and gave someone badass powers. Him throwing you a scowl and middle finger of your own. Fist-bumping the black-haired Latina before nudging her in her shoulder in a scolding manner when she glared at your sister. A bubbly blonde beaming at you by her side. Just one-hundred and seventy-seven days until the next school year. "What's up, blogosphere? Jacob Ben Israel here, back on the street with an exclusive look at McKinley's newest celebrities, the New Directions!" Winnie rolled her eyes, already annoyed and it was only ten in the morning of her first day of school. She could hear JBI's voice down the hallway and she was sure he was coming her way, but she couldn't tell for sure if she was annoyed at him or at Tina, who walked beside her with Dottie, a freshman she had, somehow convinced to follow her around all day everyday. Now, Winnie had kept her promise. When Mike left, she had stuck by Tina. The two of them had helped each other, working together through missing the boy, but, as soon as the last week of summer rolled around, Tina started to change. She started to become self-obsessed and she suddenly turned into a bigger diva than Rachel Berry herself, always talking about the solos she wanted to have at glee or how much her voice had improved with the years. Winnie was about 90% sure all of this was just some weird copying mechanism Tina had created to deal with Mike's absence, but it drove Winnie insane. Still, she stuck by Tina anyway, more out of habit than anything else, but with Mike gone and Tina's new attitude, Winnie wasn't sure how much more of this she'd be willing to take. "How much for your daughter. Name any price you want and I'll be happy to pay it" I say and I hear him speaking with his wife. It goes quiet and I take it as my question to speak again. "I don't know brittany, that's business. 3 grand easy a week for her existence. I don't think we can.........." "I will pay you any price, just name it" i say desperately as Santana pins me to the wall and I laugh nervously as she glares at me. "Any price" he says like he's hesitant and I try to push Santana off of me but she pushes me back in the wall. "Any price" I say for reassurance and he sighs. "You can have her if.......you give us atleast 3 billion dollars for her" he says and I smile that he's agreed. "I'll be over there tomorrow with a moving truck and burning her work contract" I say as they scream there rich. I hang up and pass her, her phone.
