This is the novelised version of episode one of the French animated series, Les Grandes, Grandes Vacances (The Long, Long Holiday). All characters and events of the story belong to the creators of this wonderful series.
In 1939, Colette and Ernest Bonhoure go from Paris to their grandparents home in Grangeville, Normandy for their holiday. It turns out that they must stay longer than they expected due to their mother requiring treatment in Switzerland and their father having to leave to fight in the war.

I was hoping and praying to be marked as a feeder, nothing more, nothing less. Death was the only way out of this world. You see, all of the kings who ruled over the earth were cruel and calculating. Archie Bunker Vignettes
I first wrote the following vignettes in 2003 and recently discovered them buried in the caverns of my computer. So, I dusted them off, polished them up, and decided to share them with you on my website. Every vignette presented here is a Depression-era/Pre World War II story that was told either by characters' Archie or Edith Bunker throughout the1970's All in the Family TV series. Since these events took place during another time in U.S. history, the language, people, places, and actions are as authentic to the 1930s and 1940s as I could create them without officially being there.Complete

Hi. This book is not mine. Its words, characters, and world belong to @hedgehogwithanxiety, who took it off Wattpad after getting hacked. Devastated would be an ample word to describe how I felt after losing this story. I thought about rewriting it, but had the thought- why fix something that wasn't broken? Hedge's telling of it was a masterpiece. Ultimately, I caved. I missed the characters too much and there's something about this story that makes me feel like myself again, so, here we are. After getting permission from Hedge✔️ and scouring the internet for any lost bits of his writing✔️ I began the rendition. Hedge left while his story was still unfinished, so chapters 1-21 are entirely his, and I'll be continuing and finishing the book (and series) beyond that. My dream for this book would to be to edit/finish it and hand off the polished, completed version back to Hedge to publish. The literary community is too starved for lgbt representation, especially in the girl/girl department, and this book is like a lifeline. Thanks guys!!Complete
