Fury knew who Natasha was the first second he met her. She was the Red Rooms biggest success yet also their biggest failure. She had more blood on her hands than any other KGB assassin or Shield agent. She could destabilise entire government's in minutes, enough intelligence to unveil the secrets of the world. Fury never really trusted her, deep down he hoped she would be killed on a mission, leaving him to tie up a few loose ends and file it away. Too dangerous to let go, yet too useful to destroy. She was the ultimate weapon. But every weapon has a weakness, and hers was you. Her daughter.

Natasha Romanoff has been described as many things: a killer, cold, heartless, emotionally unavailable. And she is. But she was not always like that. She has a daughter, or had one. One that died during birth. Or at least that's what she was told. Because of that, she became all of those things. But her world is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her daughter alive, but she grew up in the Red Room. She will do anything to have her daughter back with her. Will she find her daughter? Will her daughter know who she is and accept her? What will her daughter be like having grown up in the place that teaches their students to hate people like Natasha? "She was the secret her mother lost, and the truth she must now become." Some ages will be altered to fit the storyline better. The writing will get better as the story progresses, I promise! Potential triggers: -Fighting/violence -trauma -eating disorder -self-harm
