Sallow

Decades have passed since the gods cursed the Sallowlands, once a thriving island kingdom, now a crumbling, noxious land in the north. Their disease is spreading, the people, the draconid shifters, growing bold as they claw for territory free of the curse. The southern kingdoms have rallied their armies, eager to protect their lands from the decay.

In the fae Kingdom of Istuane, the threat just across the water looms. Desperate for a larger army, King Ardal has offered his youngest grandson in marriage as part of a diplomatic alliance with the Kingdom of Nalio. But the King of Nalio has a task for Prince Cian in exchange for his daughter's hand: the head of the Sallowland's general, Avani Mehta.

Bound for the Sallowlands on a quest to save his people, Cian will discover there's more at play in the islands' festering land than anyone knows, and that one general's suffering may be the key to saving them all.
