Riot and Aurora

From the moment she saw All Might smiling on television, Aihara Akari dreamed of becoming a hero who could shine just as brightly. Born in Musutafu to two pro heroes, she grew up surrounded by warmth and light, both literal and emotional. Her father, Aihara Rento, better known as Helion, could absorb sunlight and convert it into raw strength and heat. Her mother, Aihara Kiyomi, once the stealth hero Mirage, could bend and refract light to hide herself or others. Together, they taught Akari that heroism wasn't about being the strongest; it was about bringing hope into dark places.
Akari's quirk, Lightweaver, appeared when she was five. It began with soft sparkles that drifted from her fingertips as she watched the sunset. Startled, she learned she could summon and shape light, forming ribbons, spheres, and even faint illusions. Her parents beamed with pride, naming her quirk to reflect her creativity. Yet, her power came with limits: maintaining light drained her stamina quickly, and overuse left her faint or trembling.
Despite her gentle nature, Akari practiced every day. She wanted to make her light stronger, not to destroy, but to protect. She looked up to heroes who saved others with compassion, especially All Might. His unshakable smile became her symbol of courage.
In middle school, Akari found two friends who helped her step out of her quiet shell, Eijiro Kirishima and Mina Ashido. The three quickly became inseparable. Mina's energy and confidence pushed Akari to take risks, while Kirishima's steadfast loyalty reminded her that being "manly" wasn't just about power, it was about heart.

Encouraged, Akari trained through the winter, learning to focus her energy into bursts, creating flashes bright enough to blind sensors or form shimmering barriers of hardened light. By spring, she was ready.

One day, she hopes people will look up and say her name with the same hope she once felt watching her hero:
