Rain on Someone's Parade

Having lived in long isolation, at the age of twenty-five, Arisha Fontaine resolved to escape her cage and seek a new life. This was also an attempt to flee the unwanted marriage arranged by her stepfather with a chosen Duke. In her flight, she encounters River-a man with silver-blonde hair, cold gray eyes, and a perpetual sneer for a smile. There is something amiss about him, something she should keep away from. Yet, the further Arisha tries to distance herself, the deeper she is ensnared in the darkness-a void that River has specifically crafted just for the two of them.
