At the School of Orphanage and Lost, one bad grade could cost your life.

A+ (Good Job Daphyne!)
A+ (Wonderful!)
A+/Again (Keep up the good work!)

I've never gotten a single question wrong. Every test, every essay, every assignment - all A+'s. Every mark matters. Every mistake could be the last one I ever make. Around here, perfection isn't a choice. It's survival.

A week ago, my best friend Mimi wasn't so lucky. She had soft blonde hair that curled just above her shoulders and eyes the color of crystal-blue water. She laughed easily, even when things were bad. But laughter doesn't protect you here - grades do. She got three strikes last term. Three small mistakes. And now... she's gone. No goodbye. No explanation. Just gone.

We all know what that means. We just don't say it out loud. The teachers smile too much for people who hide so many secrets.
Ms. Calvin, our Art teacher, paints with colors that always seem to stain too deep - her smile stretched tight like she knows something we don't.
Mr. Delmer, who teaches Math, stands silently in the back of the room, watching, listening, always writing notes in that little black book.
Ms. Brooklyn, the English teacher, whispers warnings disguised as compliments, her words sharp enough to draw blood.
And then there's Mr. Hagen - the Science teacher I despise. His eyes are cold and calculating, like he's already decided who's next. Sometimes, I catch him staring right at me.

I used to believe that if I stayed perfect, if I kept my record spotless, I'd be safe. That was before the first note showed up in my locker - scrawled in shaky handwriting I'd recognize anywhere.
Signed: Mimi.

Now I can't sleep. I can't focus. Every shadow looks like a warning.
Because if Mimi's really gone... who's leaving me these messages?

And if she isn't - then maybe I'm next.

Perfection can save you... until it doesn't.

(i drew the person but not the stuff :pp it took so long cus my pc is not touchscreen :<)

"The fuck you are leaving me." His roar cracked through the hall like lightning. Ara didn't blink. She stood there, calm as death, done to her core. No tears. No tremble. Just a weary exhale as she turned her back on him - the one thing he never thought she'd do. Before she could take a step, his hand shot out, gripping her arm like he was holding on to life itself. "Where are you going, Ara!" His command shook the pack. But she wasn't his to command. Not anymore. Ara ripped her arm free with a force that made even his wolf recoil. "Don't. Touch. Me." Her aura slammed into him, cold and merciless. "You think I'll stand here and watch you mate and breed her?" she hissed, every word a dagger. His throat bobbed. "She meant nothing." She laughed - sharp, broken, brutal. "Yeah? That's why you were fucking her in your office? Couldn't even hide the scent of your betrayal." "Ara, it was a mistake-" She stepped closer, eyes blazing. "Your mistakes come in episodes, Alpha. Season one, season two, season three. You don't make mistakes. You make choices." He swallowed hard. "I don't need her. I need you." "Lies," she spat. "Every damn sentence you breathe is a lie. I can't even look at you without feeling sick." He flinched like her words physically hit him. "That female behind you?" she pointed, not bothering to glance. "Perfect for you. Go mark her. Breed her. Hell, fuck her for all I care." Her voice cracked - but she kept going, blade steady even when bleeding. "I don't need you. Not anymore." His knees crashed to the floor. The mighty Alpha. On the ground. For her. "Ara... I'm sorry. I'm really fucking sorry." His voice broke like he finally understood what loss tasted like. She stared at him with a sad, devastating smile. "Isn't it too late for that, Mate?" One tear escaped - and she crushed it away with her thumb. Then she turned. Walked. Didn't look back. But he didn't chase her. Because he knew. He didn't just lose her. He wrecked her.

"THAT'S IT! I'M KILLING HIM!" Apollyn screamed as she jumped up onto the cafeteria lunch table, wielding a huge sharp kitchen knife she had summoned. "NO! APOLLYN STOP!" Nathaniel grabbed for her but she had already jumped into the air, seemingly suspended above the younger elf boy. Hunter screamed as he looked up and then turned and sprinted out of the cafeteria. Apollyn disappeared as she teleported to where Hunter had run off to. She appeared in front of him and he skid on his heels, trying to stop before he ran into her. She raised the knife and began chasing him down the hallway. "Nathaniel! Get your personality away from me!" He jumped into Nathaniel's arms screaming. The principal ran out into the hallway, screaming at the three of them. "MY OFFICE. NOW." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The three sat quietly in the chairs as the principal glared at them. "Why were the two of you acting like that? Hunter Ryoma that is not like you. That's not like you either Nathaniel." Apollyn glared at the principal for ignoring her and she slowly reached behind her back, beginning to summon a knife. Nathaniel grabbed her wrist quickly and pulled it back in front of her. "You alright there son?" The principal asked. "Yeah! I'm fine. Why?" "Well you're grabbing air there." Nathaniel looked down at Apollyns' wrist. "What? No. I'm grabbing Apollyn." The principal raised an eyebrow but let the subject go. "Detention. Two weeks. Both-.....well the three of you I guess." Apollyn growled and jumped up quickly, Nathaniel letting go of her hand. "Screw off dirtbag!" She yelled into the Principals face as she became visible right in front of him. He screamed and fell back in his chair. "Oh god. C'mon lets go before we get expelled." Nathaniel picked Apollyn up and threw her over his shoulder as him and Hunter took off out of the office and down the hallway, back to the cafeteria.

A fucking mess of poems dead stories by amberandshadow

FINISHED AND COMPLEATED. Just poems, I suppose. Or maybe a scrapbook of scars. A chaotic collage of half-born stories, abandoned plots, and feelings too loud to ignore. This isn't a novel. It's a graveyard of unwritten books- stitched together with ink and impulse. A little trauma here, a little heartbreak there. Addiction. Bad parents. Dangerous love. The usual mess. I never claimed to be a poet, but pain has a way of teaching rhythm. And when the stories in my head refused to become chapters, they became verses instead. My father? A ghost in flesh. A man who cradled needles more tenderly than he ever held me. He is an addict. A lover of oblivion. And I, the daughter left behind in the smoke of his escape. Does that make me a girl with "daddy issues"? Or just a girl still learning how not to bleed from wounds she didn't choose? This book is for the overthinkers, the almost-authors, the ones who feel too much and write too little- until the words finally spill out like blood on the page. Welcome to the ride. There's no exit. But there's poetry in the wreckage. Author's Note I didn't set out to write a book. I set out to survive my own mind. This is what happens when you have too many stories, too many ghosts, and not enough discipline to finish a single novel. So instead, I wrote poems- or something like them. Fragments. Feelings. Flashbacks. A scrapbook of the soul. Some of these pieces are fiction. Some are memory. Some are just what happens when you stare at the ceiling too long and let your thoughts rot into poetry. If you've ever had a thousand ideas and no idea where to start- if you've ever felt too broken to write but too full not to- this is for you. Thanks for riding with me. There's no map. No neat ending. Just the wreckage, and the words we make from it.

"Ms.Nottage" "Ms.Nottage" "MS.NOTTAGE" "One day I'm seriously going to kill her" I whisper to myself as I got up and looked Ms.Noble in her old wrinkly caked up face. "Ms.Nottage speaking how can I be of service to you today" I smiled a innocent smile that didn't reach my eyes. "Is there a reason your sleeping in my class?" Aren't teachers suppose to have sense at least common??I couldn't help fixing my face in disgust as she folded her arms pushing her breast up. "I'm positive that whatever excuse I give I'm still going to get detention." I stared at her blankly. I smirk as I watch the vein on her neck pop out almost as if its beeping. "Why do you have to be such a bitch?" I immediately notice the attention of the whole class on us. Turning my head slowly towards the bold speaker I said "Why do you have to be a nosy nancy?" The speaker rushes to his feet ready to attack his prey as if he didn't know I'll always be the predator. "Temper Matthew temper" I said shaking my head at him watching as he's held back by fellow classmates I have yet to know the name of, not that I tried. "We wouldn't want you to end up in a coma again now would we." "You know one day someone's going to beat you to a pulp." Shaking off his 'friends' when they realized he's calmed down all having a seat except Mr.Bold of course. "And one day your going to drop down dead" As if I'm a witch a bullet flies through the wall into Matthews skull and what do you know he does drop down dead. Looking down at his body and up at everyone's shock and disbelief face I say "Likes like I'm going to need a lawyer" And as if on cue the sounds of screams and bullets occurs around me.This is going to be a long day.

"I kill for living" I said seriously expecting the beauty before me to back away in fear. I leaned close towards her and brought my face just inches away from her beautiful pinkish face. "Kill? "Of course I Kill people. I'm not into poultry to raise and kill chicken." I scoffed and leaned in closer to intimidate her. She told herself with a smile and a appreciative nod. "Goodness, What and why would I clean?" Furrowing my brows in confusion and utter disbelief, I shook my head to compose myself. "You said you kill people. You kill bad people to do welfare to the Earth so you are cleaning away dirt right?" That did it.
