The oldest thing Rumi remembered was Celine's voice. Every day, she would sing a note and tell Rumi to match it. Rumi tried so hard. She wanted to match the notes; she wanted Celine to look at her, but she couldn't do it.

She couldn't hear the notes. She didn't understand music. She couldn't tell the songs apart.

And with each day she failed, the voice in her head grew louder and louder. 'You're not good enough. You can't hit the notes. You're nothing, not to the world, not to Celine. But I can help you.'
