"Nicho, please, don't go." Momo begs, both of her hands holding Nicholas' wrist. He closes his eyes, slowly pulling his arm out of her grasp. The girl catches the gentle way that he shifts out of her hold, like he was fighting to just to put distance between them.
"We're from different worlds, Momo. This was never going to work." He says, his eyes no longer holding that fondness they had held just a few months ago. Momo stares at him, her vision blurring as tears fall down her cheeks.
"Please.." She chokes, her own voice catching in her throat. Nicholas looks at her, his expression emotionless as he lets out a short breath.
"Goodbye, Momo." He says before turning away from her, Momo's legs giving out underneath her as the door closes behind her soulmate.
