Rowan Welhaven is not a people person, in fact she's so terminally grumpy that she could give a war-hardened grandfather a run for their money. With this in mind, she's not exactly sure how she ended up in a friend group that's so... spirited. In the midst of national conflict, she must face the trials and tribulations of teenage life in a Catholic Girls' School in Northern Ireland, which proves to be a lot more eventful than she ever could have anticipated. Rowan dislikes her friends equally, or so she seems to believe, but perhaps there is room in her self-proclaimed cold heart for a few stupid people to care about, or perhaps one in particular. Arthur Guinness centered torrid drama because I have been frothing at the mouth to write for this character since learning of the casting. As a result, the story herein bears little resemblance to the show timeline- if Stephen Knight can write fanfic, so can I?! Unabashedly bi-iteration of Arthur x Reader (stand in for his real life wifey Olivia) Plot? Oh that: you've been married to another man for the past five years, he's been trying to forget for the same duration, now that he's chained to Dublin, he cannot find it in himself to bear his long delayed passion with propriety. You find that, to your surprise, you do not wish him to. There will be smut. ----------------------- "We are both still in mourning." you demurred. "It's been seven months." Arthur remained callous about your poor sister. "It's been seven days for yours." you bit back.
