Unable to face them, and afraid of what they meant, Sera vanished without a trace.
Now, in 2027, she works under Valentina Allegra De Fontaine, dangerous, loyal only to herself, and assigned one final mission. But when she's forced to join the very man she's been running from, old wounds reopen, old feelings ignite, and the line between weapon and woman begins to blur.
