16-year old Aria Mathew starts her new life in Miami Beach, Florida where she is sent to an expensive school, although her family does need the money to fullfill their basic needs at first.

Her mother wants to give her the opportunity to do something with her life. Meanwhile she does not realize that sending her to a school like that isn't enough.

 Aria does not see the problem in the aspect school, but rather in making friends, buying the perfect clothes, behaving the right way and getting the money from somewhere to fit into the lifestyle of an average teenage-girl.

 When she finally meets Nate Johnson, her whole   life is turned upside down.
