Lying there, trembling, was a bat. Not a normal one-its fur shimmered like starlight at midnight, and nestled in its face were two crystal-violet eyes that watched him with a strange dignity... and exhaustion.

A thin cut bled along her wing.

Izuku's heart lurched. "You're hurt! I-I can fix that! I promise, I'll help!"

It was absurd. It was earnest. It was Izuku.

He peeled off his All Might notebook sticker and pressed it over the wound like a tiny bandage. The bat twitched. Then... leaned into his fingers.

"You're so pretty," Izuku murmured softly. "Your eyes are like amethyst. I'll call you Murasaki. Mura for short."

The bat blinked, as though startled by his tenderness.
