Yuuki Kyomi never thought she'd make it into U.A. High - the most prestigious hero academy in Japan. Shy, and gentle-hearted, she's the last person anyone would expect to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the next generation of heroes. With honey-brown hair streaked in pastel pink and eyes that shimmer like hazel glass, Kyomi looks as delicate as her spirit. But beneath her timid exterior lies a Quirk unlike any other: Tender Pulse - a power that grows stronger the more anxious or emotional she becomes.

Though it can make her as strong as All Might when her heart overflows, it's also dangerous - a double-edged gift that can spiral out of control when fear takes over. To manage it, Kyomi surrounds herself with the things that make her feel safe: soft oversized sweaters, pastel colors, plush toys, and the warmth of her friends. Her dorm room becomes a cozy haven for the girls of Class 1-A - Ochaco, Momo, Mina, Tsuyu, and Jiro - who find comfort in her gentle nature and her ability to make even the toughest heroes smile.

The boys aren't immune to her charm either. Denki and Kirishima can't stop blushing around her, and even Mineta finds himself too bashful to tease her. But it's her quiet friendship with Deku and Todoroki that truly helps her grow - both encouraging her to find strength in her softness.

And then there's Bakugo. Loud, explosive, and endlessly infuriating, he seems determined to terrify her every chance he gets. He teases her for being scared, and acts like her softness annoys him... Does Bakugo really have feelings for her?
