My name is Felix Vornic.
At eighteen, I got the kind of gift everyone dreams of but no one actually understands: an empire. Yes - that one. Vornic Industries. Bionics, robotic surgery, the future of humankind - all under one signature: mine.
Or at least, it was supposed to be.

Then the ride home turned into a crater of fire and twisted metal. And when I woke up in the hospital - alive, unharmed, perfectly fine - I figured the universe was making a joke.
Until I found out who died instead of me.

Olarie. The man who raised me. The only one who ever really knew me. Dead.

Since that night, nothing makes sense. My family knows more than they admit, the company hides secrets of its own, and the accident... wasn't an accident.
And if someone wanted me dead, they really shouldn't get too comfortable.

Because geniuses don't die easily.
They just start playing smarter.

"What is your predicament?" he repeated slowly I was getting pissed. My predicament is; I led my coworker and friend to an early grave, my fiancé if I dare call her that, was gallivanting around God knows where, doing God knows what. I had never even seen or held a gun all my life but in less than 48 hours I've somehow managed to stare down the barrel of a gun. I also endangered my family and anyone foolish enough to call me a friend and not too long ago I put an innocent woman, someone's grandmother in ICU. "What's your predicament?" Short legs asked again, spacing his words slowly as if each held a double meaning. My brain clicked suddenly; "I have delayed diagnosis" He nodded briefly. "Welcome. I'm Doctor Rasheed". ::::::::::::::::::::: Rex Obasi was just an average banker struggling to deal with his fiance dissapearing after eight years. In a crazed moment of greed, he steals valuable documents worth millions but there's something else in the mix; a piece of paper containing numbers - coordinates he doesn't understand. When the coordinates lead to a deadly human trafficking ring, operating under the guise of an N.G.O, Rex realizes he has stumbled on what is no doubt the most dangerous organized crime, operating since 1989. His life of deposit slips and checkbooks are turned upside down, now it's guns and bullets, knives and assassins. It's up to Rex to put an end to it, redeem his conscience, and just maybe he could get a second shot at love. But there's every possibility that a bullet is coming next.

The year was 2115. Space travel had been pioneered beyond what anyone in the Old World could have realistically imagined. Humans spread far and wide, across planets and solar systems, transported by robust starships. A new age arose for humanity, one filled with hope and potential. The humans silently swore that the mistakes from the Old World would not be repeated. The unfortunate truth was that one had already been made. A burning curiosity for what is not known, inevitably leads the beholder into the jaws of danger. But danger didn't immediately come then, it waited patiently, until the perfect moment. Among many humans stood a few. Rather usual humans, ones you could find anywhere. Like many, these people flew among the stars, in hopes of safety and stability. What you are about to read has been verified as a first-hand account from one of these individuals. While he is no longer with us, he had requested for his documentation to be published after his passing. --------------------------- Already Inside is a novel adaptation of the online social deduction video game, Among Us. 【 ꜰᴏʀᴍᴇʀ ʏᴀɴᴅᴇʀᴇ! ꜰ. ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ x ᴍ!ʏᴀɴᴅᴇʀᴇ 】 This world has never felt real to you, especially when you found yourself obsessed with a certain boy in your class. It doesn't help that you felt some kind of force whispering to you to kill him in order to prove your love. So, you did. Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?
