The Forever Before Forever

I don't know his name yet,
nor the warmth in his eyes when they finally find mine.
But somewhere, beyond the rush of days and the quiet of nights,
a thread already ties us... gentle, unseen, unbreakable.

This isn't waiting in emptiness.
This is waiting with faith.
A becoming, not a pause.
A promise, not a question.

He exists in a time I haven't walked into yet,
and I exist in the prayers he hasn't whispered yet.

Until that crossing... I write.
Page by page, breath by breath, steady in quiet hope.

Because some stories don't begin when two people meet,
they begin long before life realises it.

This is my forever before forever.
