We all live in the world where we don't understand what is going around us, or what a person is going through, not realising how bad a person life can be when we live in society full of arrogance, and this play that I have written is about to tell you a story about six young adult all going through something, all with a story, all living with some hidden illness. Showing you what it is to live life and go on a party holiday so young not realising each other's trauma living with a mask on their faces every day till the party holiday showing some tragic endings and tragic events.
A play about losing control, losing oneself, their emotions and their bodies no longer feels like theirs, what losing control can feel like, how can they survive the truth.
A play I can visualised for the West End with physical theatre and Stanislavsky elements exploring addiction, mental health, and recovery.

"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. They're purposefully making the weak minorities sick to kill them off while they take the strongest young men and women to 'test' on, when really, they're just purposefully giving us the disease and then the cure. The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. My breath catches in my throat as I pull at the hoodie that covered his chiselled body. Understanding, Jacob pulls it off in one swift movement before attaching his lips back on my neck. Sucking and biting it before flicking his tongue over the sore spot. A quiet moan leaves my mouth and I clasp my hand over it, denying any noise to escape. "You drive me fucking crazy, Aria." ---------------------------- Aria Bailey finds it hard to fit in. Her parents are always busy and never have time for her. She lives alone at her family home and has top grades in all of her classes. But being a 17 year old friendless nerd comes with its disadvantages. The bullying gets worse every single day, driving her to self harm and suicidal thoughts. TW: mental illness, death, abuse, suicide, drug abuse, violence, assault, sexual assault This novel is told from the perspective of Alex - as she grows up with her best friend, Andy. It follows 15 years of friendship, in the format of monthly journal entries. Andy and Alex's teen angst evolves into harsh adult realities, but they always have each other. It shines a light on a lot of prevalent issues in society: addiction, stalking, assault, abuse, mental illness, and the ever-present grief of losing loved ones. Andy and Alex never get the timing right in their love for one another, and often drift apart as a result - but they can always find each other again.Complete
On The Edge
On The Edge is an original script that I decided to write as part of my personal project for school. This play falls under the category of play of ideas. If you don't know what that means, it means that this play highlights social issues of today. In order to write this play, I had to research suicide, depression, social anxiety, bullying, and bipolar disorder and embed what I learned into characters. I researched using the internet as well as interviewing people that I know who deal with some of these issues. By writing this, I wanted to educate myself as well as spread awareness about these issues. I hope that if you are someone who deals with these issues that this play can help you know that you are not alone and help show that you have options to get help. I hope that if you are someone who knows another dealing with these issues that this play can help you better understand how you can be there for them and help them. This script is technically finished, but i will continue to edit it to make it better. I will edit based on the critiques i receive on here and well personal goals on how I want to change it.
