The Last of Us AU Hollow Pursuits

First AU/Fanwriting ever so please go easy on me.

Born into a world already rotting, Alexis"Alex" Harlan was eight when a mysterious sickness should have claimed her life. It was only thanks to his mother's connections as a top medic in Fireflies and his father's connections as one of the founders of Vanguard/Eagles that she was cured when given a mysterious injection by a provisional medic team of medics in both Fireflies and Eagles. This injection would, however, have irreversible effects on her from within and on her personal life. After a major tragedy, she spends the rest of her childhood and early teen years being hunted by Fedra for the illegal medical practices of his parents, passed around by fireflies and eagles, both groups using her as a child soldier doing various jobs for them, but also being kept in the shadows. She comes to find herself in distrust of the groups her parents once believed in, after they both do cruel things to her and have her do harsh jobs. Things take a turn for a whole new path when they move her to Boston, she meets a group of smugglers, the fireflies stuff her in a military school undercover, and she makes two friends.
