It has been three years since a virus outbreak caused humans to awaken after death. With milky white eyes and rotting flesh, the infected deteriorate at record speed without losing basic cognitive function.

The infected have been officially classified as "The Cursed" deemed by the Catholic Churches around the world, punished to forever roam this earth for sins left unpardoned. The origin of the outbreak is still unknown. The virus can only spread by bite, something infecting and affecting the salivary glands. That much we know.

Quarantine areas have been established, allowing communities to reestablish and protect themselves against the undead that roam freely outside the barricaded walls. Repopulation efforts begin in attempt to preserve the human race and avoid extinction. The only problem is that the virus tends to effect and kill more women than men. With approval by the church, hunters from the quarantined communities seek uninfected women to support their cause.
