Izuku Midoriya believes soulmate marks are meant to be understood. Fourteen tally marks-one for every year he's known Katsuki Bakugou-line his arm, proof of a bond that should be complete. Yet the marks have stopped changing, leaving him with the quiet certainty that something is missing. Katsuki Bakugou notices the danger long before anyone names it. The way the new transfer student keeps his sleeves down, the way he flinches, the way fear follows him too closely. Katsuki doesn't care what the secret is-only that no one gets hurt under his watch. Kirishima Eijiro was raised to believe soulmate marks are dangerous. That they trap people, destroy love, and must be hidden at all costs. When Izuku watches too closely and Katsuki stands too near, Kirishima doesn't see safety-he sees the beginning of something he was taught to run from. As their paths intertwine, old lies begin to crack, revealing a truth none of them were prepared for: some soulmate bonds aren't unfinished by accident, and some destinies only make sense once all three are willing to face them together.
