Lester Papadopoulos is a Caucasian teenager who lives in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York. His life wasn't going very well, until his mother calls a man Lester had never seen before to be taken away. Along the way, Lester meets a 12-year-old girl named Meg McCaffrey, and together they go to Long Island, to a place called Camp Half-Blood.
Lester had always enjoyed mythological stories, but he never thought any of them were real until he was claimed by a well-known God.
