Ketil needs someone to help his father, whose health is rapidly declining. Meanwhile, a young woman wakes up on the shores of southern Denmark and is captured by slave traders. She soon finds herself on the man's farm.
Her life at the farm will be anything but peaceful, especially when she catches the eye of the enigmatic Snake.
But there's more to her than that gentle attitude and her angelic face. Her eyes betray a sadness so deep that she seems to be sinking little by little into a dark sea of loneliness. He wants to know why. He wants her to open up to him. He's just curious, there's no ulterior motive. Right?
~ This is a slow burn romance with an age gap (10 years) and a bit of a love triangle, though one-sided.
This is my first story that isn't a one-shot, I love Snake's character and I wanted to give him some love!
