The last thing Rin recalled before she'd fallen asleep was sharing a nice warm hug with her fiancé, Shirou Emiya, in their bed. So why the fuck did she wake up in a tropical paradise filled with extinct animals, strange plants, phantasmal species that should have been banished to the Reverse Side of the World? At least her boyfriend's with her and from the look of things, they might not be alone for much longer.
As much as I've stopped caring for Ark Survival Evolved, I did enjoy the maps and Extinction was by far my favourite, so I thought why not make a Fate story set in a version of Ark's Extinction Map? If course, I did get the idea to make the story based on another storey called "Stranded" by Markacin, an MHA story with the same premise that's been... abandoned or at the very least put on a long Hiatus by its author.
