I could feel his presence behind me, sweat prickled my forehead from nerves and the heat coming from the stove.

I heard foot steps indicating him approaching me and my hand clutched the spatula tighter, my heart pounding harder in my chest.

I could now smell his delicious masculine scent overpowering the smell of pasta before me.

I clenched my thighs together, praying he wouldn't notice how turned on just his presence made me.

The wetness between my thighs growing when his husky voice penetrated the tension filled air.

"Smells delicious."

I let out a shaky thank you but my breath caught in my throat at his reply.

"I wasn't talking about the food kitten."
