Izuku is in he's second year of UA, class 2-A. It has been a chaotic start to the year, with all students living on site and the ending of the war last year. Izuku is adjusting to the normality of being a student once more, learning with he's classmates what it should have been like from the start.
Of course though, half the dorms flood.

Katsuki has experienced a near death experience and helped in the defeat of All For One. Now he's learning to readjust to being just a student. Although he wasn't expecting to be woken up from he's sleep by Kirishima saying that half the dorms have flooded and Aizawa had called for everyone downstairs.

A disastrous landslide caused by an earthquake takes out most of UA's dorms, leaving some buildings heavily damaged and many more completely uninhabitable.
