The first encounter with an otherworldly being was beyond what Ferren could comprehend. Odious, yet so desperate for togetherness. It was Elvathan. Looking into those golden orbs should've been forbidden when God knows what decreed that no one was able to resist.
It might not be the path Ferren was hoping for, nor a relationship he had been longing for in his tedious life. Someone thought he was deep in the abyss when unbeknownst to them, coming to terms with this fate taught Ferren things he didn't understand before. Sincerity in Elvathan's presence.
The last breath was no longer a barrier for them to be together. The stone was just a place for Ferren to lean on. Forever, in another dimension, Elvathan was the best he could ask for, albeit the world was against his every dark particle.
