"I asked for a single room." "And I asked for peace. Looks like we're both screwed." Nico di Angelo didn't want a roommate. He didn't want sticky notes on the fridge, humming in the shower, or someone who smiled before coffee. He wanted silence. Space. A locked door. Then Will Solace moved in-bright-eyed, loud, and annoyingly persistent. Now Room 20B is a war zone of passive-aggressive coffee rituals, thermostat battles, and one very stubborn boy who refuses to leave. Nico's sarcasm is armor. Will's optimism is infuriating. They clash over everything-except the fact that neither of them has packed up and walked away. Because silence is safer than saying what they really mean. ~ (Guys, I am SO sorry. I forgot to add this before so I'm doing this now. This fic though the idea is all mine, it's written along with a close friend. Her parents don't allow Wattpad so she uses mine. I hope that's okay and once again I'm REALLY sorry if anything was offensive.)

Nico di Angelo has learned to survive by disappearing. He wears his shadows like armor and keeps everyone, even Will, at a safe distance. No one knows about the late-night panic attacks, the silent scars he leaves hidden beneath long sleeves, the feeling that he's always one step away from being left behind again. Not even Will - the boy he trusts most. Will Solace is sunshine to the world, a healer, a leader, the rock everyone leans on. But no one sees the cracks. Not the guilt of the siblings he couldn't save. Not the pressure to be "fine" all the time. And definitely not the way he pushes himself past breaking just to feel worthy of the love he gives so freely. They're in love, yes - but they're also in pain. And the longer they keep their walls up, the more those walls start to crush them both. ⚠️ This story contains themes of depression, anxiety, isolation, self-loathing, emotional trauma, burnout, survivor's guilt, intrusive thoughts, self-harm, religious trauma, grief, and mentions of death.
