Twenty-two-year-old Spanish actress Valeria Rodríguez finally begins her long-awaited vacation. She only longs for peace and a moment of respite. She is accompanied by her best friend and her manager, while Valeria herself still feels satisfied after the premiere of the film in which she played one of the leading roles.

Although the production received good reviews, Valeria's manager faces a completely different problem. After the Oscars ceremony, a media scandal erupted around the actress's name, one that the press still won't forget. Her task becomes redirecting public attention toward something entirely new.

Then an opportunity arises. The manager proposes a bold, though risky move: entering into a fake relationship with the controversial but extremely popular footballer Ferran Torres, whose name has been dominating headlines for months. After long persuasion and reluctant consideration, Valeria finally agrees.
