Fantasy:
Inspired by C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and Gillian Bronte Adams!
. . .the past haunts her,
the future daunts her,
and the present taunts her. . .
Whatever it was that she wanted, it certainly wasn't too lead, nor to be followed. That had been her sister, long dead because of her stubbornness.
She was raised with a weapon in hand, and raised to wield it, and so becomes a feared opponent by her enemies. The doublesword is like a part of herself.
But she may discover unwanted truths and harsh setbacks that she never even considered, and her prized doublesword can perhaps not fight the raging battle she needs to win the most.
Alone, isolated. It's all she's known, she has not only learned to survive despite of it, but she depends on her isolation.
But she needs to find her people, her kin. If there are any left related to her.
And she will find them. Even if danger nips at her heels every step of the way.
But that seems to pale in comparison of what she may discover of herself. . . can she accept what is expected of her?

As the Crow Falls | ✔
Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. Shadow Archive
When the world collapsed, it wasn't war, famine, or plague that brought it down. It was words. Sentient grimoires devoured cities. Living paragraphs swallowed memories. And language itself fractured reality. Kael Orven, once a brilliant young Librarian, now roams the ruins with no past beyond the glyphs carved into his arm-glyphs that burn every time he faces a corrupted text. When he witnesses a book eat a man's face, Kael realizes something terrifying: The words remember him. And they want him back. Forced into an uneasy alliance with Lira Vein, a blind exorcist who "hears corruption," Kael enters the war between Archivists, cults, and Monarch-class Grimoires capable of rewriting the world. But every answer he finds only leads to one terrifying truth: Kael once opened the Shadow Archive... and he is the reason the world collapsed. Now the grimoires are whispering again. The Monarch is returning. And the last line of the world is already being written. To save the future, Kael must walk back into the catastrophe he created- and rewrite the story that erased him. If it doesn't erase him again first. 🔥 Perfect for fans of: dark fantasy, cosmic horror, grim magic systems, emotional duos, tragic pasts, and post-apocalyptic mystery.Concluida
