In the flawless city of Eclipsera, perfection is law, and obedience is survival.

16 year old Halcy Iven, son of the government's most renowned robotics engineer (Kael Iven), has grown up surrounded by glass towers, artificial skies, and android "companions" known as Echo Units. But when his own Echo begins acting strangely, Halcy starts to see the cracks beneath the city's polished surface.

For as long as he can remember, Halcy and his father have never been close. Perhaps that's why, even after fifteen years of living under the same roof, Halcy still doesn't truly know what his father does, or the depth of his involvement in the government.

Far beyond the spotless districts, in the ruins of a world the government swears no longer exists, lives Agneera. A 17 year old survivor from the slums, orphaned by the same system that built Eclipsera's utopia. To him, hope is a myth... until fate - or perhaps a malfunction - brings him face-to-face with Halcy.
