The city is safe, but the war within is just beginning. After every victory against the darkness, there are secrets the Avatar keeps buried deep. Republic City demands perfect control, yet Korra is finding that some forces-like unspoken desires and illicit touches in the dead of night-cannot be bent or tamed. When an unexpected mission forces the Avatar and her most intense rival (or lover?) into close quarters, the lines between duty and passion begin to blur. Every glance is a spark, every accidental brush of skin is a fire waiting to ignite. They are masters of the elements, but neither has mastered the heat that pulses between them. Soon, they will discover that when two opposing forces finally surrender to the inevitable, the resulting harmony can be absolute-and utterly consuming. Control is a myth. Boundaries are meant to be broken. What happens when the Avatar finally lets the fire take hold?
