His own pale pink eyes flicked down to the other; his eyebrows were furrowed, and his eyes squeezed shut as he yelled. Elijah, however, did not respond with anger, just watching him carefully. The short guy seemed tense... well I suppose that part was obvious, he was screaming after all, but he also seemed tense in another way. His shoulders shook very subtly under the baggy fabric covering them, the tremor leading all the way down to his arms and hands.
Instinctively, he reached a slender hand out, resting it softly on where his shoulder and neck conjoined, thumb gently pressed against his neck's pulse point feeling the sharp thump against the tip of his finger; it was rushed like a terrified animal.
