Ravenna (Enna) Luxis is a young woman who was born in the 2000s and who traveled through a portal at just thirteen years old. She is chosen at random and is bought by a wealthy slave owner.
She is training herself one night when Theodus happens upon her and realizes she had potential to become a gladiator. Making her the first Gladiatrix in history.
Once the blood starts flowing, so do the forbidden kisses and touches, and so do the lies, secrets and betrayals plenty enough to go around.
This is not just a dark romance book, this is a story that involves many many twisted, spicy and bloody themes.
A free farm girl that was not from this world, was sold to a Roman leader, a Lanista that trains gladiators that fight in the arena, and a Dragonaé.
Dragonaé are a special type of Dragon and all Roman men and women of worth are these creatures, mere slaves and townsfolk in this universe are human.
By law it is forbidden for a Dragonaé to be with any type of human or have any type of relationship with humans. Despite the loophole of Lanistas taking their slaves around the world.
By spirit Dragonaé and slaves are enemies, yet, what if two of one branch were to come together in the most unlikely of terms and chances?
Can this have a chance, or will they burn before they even have a chance?
Can they convince the magistrate's second in command that there is nothing between them?
Can ones' true opposite or true enemy become one true love?
