*Note: My story received a mature rating according to Wattpad guidelines, and while I have tried to get rid of it, they believe my story is appropriately rated, which I beg to differ with. Please do not feel intimidated by the mature rating, as I can assure you that this story does not deal with any sort of explicit content in the smut or erotic category. The world is cruel, and Dareen Abu feels helpless. She's just going with the flow of what society tells her to do: go to college, get your degree, and work for the rest of your life like a robot. But her mind is always on her dreams: becoming a writer, finding love, and not having to worry about her finances. Writing is her safe haven. She utterly adores romance and fantasies about it all day, inserting herself in her character's shoes for some thrill in her rather boring life. Though her life is a lot greater than most people's, she notices her family's struggles. They came into the country with only a bag of items, after all; however, after seventeen years, they still haven't been able to break free from the minimum wage cage. Not to mention that getting a job nowadays is harder than ever, which she's personally seen her father struggle with. After six months, he finally lands a job, but it's yet another damn driving job that he isn't getting paid well for. What he is good at is cooking. He may not be primarily passionate about it in this given moment since he's been in survival mode for the past seventeen years, but perhaps a cushy private chef job where rich people let him experiment with all kinds of organic goods and in return eat Michelin-star-worthy food, for which he gets paid well, would be a win-win situation for everyone. But just how will Dareen help her father get a better job? And little does she know that perhaps she may benefit from her pursuit to help him. Dive into Dareen's journey by giving this story a good read to find out just what happens to her and her family... and her heart?

An angel and a rebel. A scholarship girl and a playgirl. When their worlds collide, sparks fly-and nothing will ever be the same. When Enid Jones-straight-A student and the perfect Islamic daughter-earns a scholarship to the prestigious Montrose Academy, she believes her life is finally falling into place. Her plan is simple: keep her head down, ace her classes, secure a scholarship to Yale, work a side job, and one day gain full custody of her younger sister from their abusive father. But trouble has other plans for Enid... and its name is Olivia Grayson. Carefree, rebellious, and notorious for breaking hearts, Olivia is Montrose Academy's golden girl. With her comes the infamous Golden Four, and a whirlwind of chaos Enid wants no part of. At least, that's what she tells herself. Because Olivia isn't just interested in Enid-she's made it her mission to strip away the saintly image everyone sees and uncover the fire hidden beneath. But what if it's Olivia's carefully crafted "bad girl" façade that begins to crumble first... all because of a certain brunette who was never supposed to matter? ๑ "After what you and your stupid friends did to me, isn't it enough? Do you really have to rub it in my face?" I snapped, my voice shaking with fury. Olivia just smirked, stepping closer until her warm minty breath fanned against my lips. My pulse went wild, betraying me. "I'm only just getting started, angel," she whispered in that husky voice of hers. "And I'll stop... the moment I hear you moan my name." ๑ An angel and a rebel. A scholarship girl and a playgirl. Can love survive when it's least expected-or will it destroy them both?
