While Jackson West gets no nonsense TO Angela Lopez who wants to be a detective. John Nolan gets Talia Bishop, also a no-nonsense TO who wants to be detective so that way she can become LAPD Chief. Lucy Chen gets Grant Lawrence, a much more relaxed TO and is good friends with his fellow TOs especially Angela and Tim (the latter of whom as his own TO).
