Bound by Shadows: An Olandria Story

In 1915 Alabama, Olandria wants more than the Delta can offer her. She wants a college education, a life beyond river mud. When a presence only known to the locals as the "Shadow Man"answers her problems, he promises to make her desires come true. In return, he wants something of 'equal value' in return, yet he refuses to tell olandria until 'the time comes'.
Her wish is granted. Olandria earns her place at a northern college on a full tuition. She quickly proves herself as she is number one in her class. However, as the seasons change, the feeling in her stomach creeps in.She sees things nobody else can see. Shadows dance wear they shouldn't. Her reflection doesn't always move when she does. And in her sleep, she sees premonitions of a faceless figure in a time period that is foreign to her.
When the Shadow Man finally returns, Olandria learns the truth, the debt of her wish is her future itself. Every step she takes toward the life she always wanted is the one he intends to claim for himself.
Now, Olandria must find a way to outwit whoever- whatever she invited in or lose herself forever and unfortunately be claimed by the darkness.
