Olivia Grey is the daughter of Sergeant Wade Grey and Luna Grey, and the older sister to Dominique, who's finishing high school and preparing for college. Though Olivia initially pursued a law degree at Yale, she ultimately followed a different path - joining the LAPD to become a cop like her father.

At the academy, Olivia quickly forms bonds with Lucy Chen, Jackson West, and John Nolan. She's known Jackson since childhood; their fathers have been close friends for years, and they grew up together. But while Jackson proudly embraces his family's policing legacy, Olivia keeps hers more guarded. Unlike Jackson, who always dreamed of being a cop, Olivia saw law enforcement as her Plan B - a second chance after her legal ambitions shifted.

'The table was long, the man's face longer. The cafe was quiet, the woman quieter. Neither wanted to be there, neither quite knew why- but they each knew why they hadn't left. The woman; in need of a job, in need of a new start, in desperate need of an escape. The man; in a need of a way to appease his intruding sister in law...' It had been six months since FBI's Agent Aaron 'Hotch' Hotchner lost his (ex) wife to a serial killer his team had been hunting for a year, eventually succumbing to the hands of the man he made a widowed single father. A lack of social or love life, of which he says he's happier without, leaves room for only one thing in his life after the tragedy other than his son; his work. Catching and profiling criminals is his world; blood on his sleeves at the end of the day, an empty stomach until the job is done, an addiction to righting the wrongs that walk the earth at the cost of living his own life beyond files and crooked company. How could a man known more his lack of pleasantries and cold demeanour even to his closest of companions find himself forced to invite the human embodiment of sunshine into his home for the sake of his son? Annika-Sunday Li Mai Paisley, Sunday for short, is what some might call Hotch's worst nightmare: A kindergarten teacher turned nanny, a smile that is as genuine as it is bright, and an ability to scold his morally ambiguous ways with a look that could make a nun confess to murder. But can the soft smile and gentle scolds of curses disguise the real reason a former Miss Paisley quit her beloved teaching job with a recent promotion of her dreams to Au pair for the son of the most ill-mannered, cold hearted man she had ever had the displeasure of meeting for less than minimum wage? Will their differences and dedication to keep their secrets just that succeed, or will it drive the two opposites closer than either knew possible? (criminal minds fic)

UNWANTED

100 parts Complete

💔 Unwanted Lisa Manoban was born into the richest and most powerful family in Thailand. Her father, Anurak Manoban, a Thai business tycoon, and her mother, Kim Soojin, a Korean heiress, built an empire that ruled every industry-oil, hotels, automobiles, entertainment, stocks, and beyond. Her elder sister, Chaeyoung Manoban, and elder brother, Bambam Manoban, were admired everywhere they went, treated like royalty. To the world, the Manoban family was untouchable. But to little Lisa, it was all empty. She would run with tiny feet to her father, pulling his hand: > "Dada... pway wif me, pwease..." And his cold voice would push her away: "Go away, Lisa. You are not important." She would tug at her sister's dress, eyes shining: > "Unnie... Lisa sit wif you?" But Chaeyoung would shove her off with disgust: "Don't call me unnie. You're not my sister." She would hug her toy and look at Bambam: > "Oppa... pway toy wif Lisa?" But he would glare and snap: "Don't bother me, Lisa. You mean nothing here." And her mother? She never even looked at her. Just silence. In a palace filled with gold, cars, and diamonds, Lisa had no love-no mama hugs, no dada kisses, no sister, no brother. Just loneliness. At night, clutching her small hands, she whispered to the sky: > "God... why nobody want Lisa? Why Lisa unwanted... even by her own famiwy?" And in this whole cruel world... did Lisa have anyone who truly wanted her in their life? ---
