The sister of Chris names Olivia but is called Olive in high school she got pregnant at 19 when dating her brothers best friend Rick. But Rick freaked out and left her and hasn't been with her or the there son Landon's life Ricky's not in Landon's life but they live with Chris,her best friend Jaelynn which is engaged To Chris and ,Rick Landon's dad but they have no contact but one day Jaelynn and Olive wanna go out and she talked to Chris about how much she misses Rick and wants him in Landon's life and Chris offered to watch his nephew with Rick to convince rick. After some convincing Rick told her how he felt and they became a family again and then soon after she found out she was pregnant Again before they got married and she didn't have the baby till after marriage but a few months later they noticed some health concerns (will come in second book btw)

So having Chris around more often is wonderful for Sadie; mostly because Chris is very understanding of her and incredibly open-minded. Sadie is just a bit...different, and Chris is the perfect example for her to show that being different is an okay and good thing. When tragedy strikes, Chris is immediately there for Melanie and Sadie and instantly knows how to comfort them. With being so close to Melanie this often now, Chris begins to realize that maybe, after all these years, he might have been looking at her the wrong way, and feelings may be starting to develop.
