The Tragedy of Macbeth

At the KAL Theater in UP Diliman, a group of ten students a blend of passionate Theater Arts majors and skeptical Literature scholars secretly run a society called The Off-Book Coven.

Every Friday, after enduring the pressure of their play's Run-Through, they lurk and make their way to a hidden lake inside their campus. There, the Coven performs a solemn rite they carefully light candles, pray to Dionysus for artistic inspiration, and spend the nights exploring and daring the most dangerous theatrical superstitions.

But just before their opening night performance, their ritual takes a deadly turn.

One night, a member of the Coven breaks the most forbidden of stage taboos.

The play turns on its players.

Now caught in a real-life tragedy, the group must draw upon their knowledge of literature and theater to escape the curse they've awakened before the final, horrifying curtain call claims them all.
