Linnea is tired and wants something new in life. She works as an assistant nurse at her local doctors office, nothing fancy. She feels like she's not living life for herself but for the people she cares about. She never had a chance to figure out what she wants. No matter what she has been through, she keeps her positive demeter.
Samuel is more upset than normal because his boss asked him to transfer to a small clinic a town over to help out. He meets Linnea and she turns his life upside down. For better or for worse? That's for him to decide.
Linnea doesn't like Samuel in the beginning because of his attitude and gloomy behavior until she finally understands why. Will they be able to help each other even after they see what makes them so dark inside?
