Synopsis
By day, Thannathorn Rattanapisal, 28, is the picture of calm refinement - the poised and polished owner of Rattanapisal Wine Cellar, one of Bangkok's most exclusive wine distributors. People admire him for his grace, his restraint, and his impeccable taste.
Thannathorn lives with severe sensory hypersensitivity - every scent, sound, touch, and taste floods him more intensely than the human body is meant to endure. He hears electricity humming through walls, feels the weight of air on his skin, smells emotions clinging to people like perfume.
During the day, he survives through routine and composure.
At night, that control collapses. His body trembles with overstimulation; his mind splinters under sensations he cannot silence. It's been like this ever since the accident twelve years ago - the night his parents died in a car crash that left him half-conscious, drowning in the smell of smoke, rubber, and blood.
Since then, the world has never gone quiet.
Until one night, it does.
It happens when he catches a scent that cuts through the noise - a natural, comforting, human scent that soothes him in an instant.
It belongs to Dr. Preecha "Pree" Worawan, 26 - a veterinarian who runs a small animal clinic by the Chao Phraya River.
Pree grew up in the countryside of Chiang Mai, surrounded by animals and open fields. He was never rich, never ambitious - only kind. After losing his childhood dog, he promised himself he'd spend his life helping creatures that couldn't speak for themselves. Years later, he moved to Bangkok and opened a humble clinic that treats abandoned animals for free, often working long nights alone.
To Thannathorn, Pree's scent becomes the only thing that quiets his senses - the only peace his body recognizes.
To Pree, Thannathorn is a man of strange contradictions - elegant yet fragile, composed yet unknowingly desperate.
As their paths intertwine, obsession and comfort begin to blur.
